She has served as conservator and fiduciary herself numerous times during the course of her career, and can provide practical advice as well as assisting in resolving disputes with creditors and beneficiaries.

Attorney Berkenstock has experience serving in all the local probate courts in a variety of matters. She has served as court-appointed attorney for indigent clients at several probate courts around the state in conservatorship matters, mental health matters and other matters involving incapacity. She also has experience litigating will contests in the probate court.
Elder Law
Many seniors are concerned about planning for the future so that they will be able to remain in their homes as long as possible. Attorney Berkenstock understands the many challenges seniors face. She has counseled her senior clients on Medicaid (Title XIX) issues and helped them determine their eligibility for assistance.
