Attorney Jennifer L. Berkenstock has extensive experience drafting wills and trusts of every variety, from simple to complex. She understands that every client’s situation is unique—whether it involves caring for a disabled child, a family dispute, financial issues, estate tax planning needs or other situations. She takes the time to listen to her clients and will help them determine which legal strategy will best accomplish their objectives. 

Decedent’s Estates in Probate Court
Attorney Jennifer L. Berkenstock has helped many families through the probate process after the death of a loved one. Regardless of the circumstances, it can be a trying time for families to deal with all the required paperwork and legal aspects of settling an estate. Attorney Berkenstock does her best to provide compassionate and efficient service to help families through this time.

Representing Fiduciaries in Probate Court
Whether you have been named as executor under a will, or a conservator for a family member, Attorney Berkenstock will advise you throughout the probate process. She has served as conservator and fiduciary herself numerous times during the course of her career, and can provide practical advice as well as assisting in resolving disputes with creditors and beneficiaries.

Other Probate Matters
Attorney Berkenstock has experience serving in all the local probate courts in a variety of matters. She has served as court-appointed attorney for indigent clients at several probate courts around the state in conservatorship matters, mental health matters and other matters involving incapacity. She also has experience litigating will contests in the probate court.

Elder Law
Many seniors are concerned about planning for the future so that they will be able to remain in their homes as long as possible. Attorney Berkenstock understands the many challenges seniors face. She has counseled her senior clients on Medicaid (Title XIX) issues and helped them determine their eligibility for assistance.
